Protection of the City of Třebíč

The flood protection is located on both banks of the Jihlava River and on the Týnský Stream.
The largest part is on the left bank of the Havlíček´s Embankment, from the Podklášterský Bridge to the Colonel Svoboda Footbridge and further runs up to the rock. It will protect the Židovskou čtvrť (Jewish Quarter) that is registered as a monument on the UNESCO World Heritage List. On the right bank there is a fortification wall that is fitted with seven waterproof doors to protect the adjacent buildings.
Three of the objects are located on the Týnský Stream. The other objects protect a descent under the Homolka Weir and a small hydraulic power plant.
