EKO-SYSTEM Ltd. was founded in 1997 with the intention to bring a quality and field-tested mobile flood protection system to the Czech market. Thanks to the delivery of flood protection systems for the Capital City of Prague we have become the leading supplier of mobile flood protection systems in the Czech Republic.
In August 2002 the mobile flood protection system built to protect Prague Old Town was tested by real flood. It stood the test and protected part of our capital city from flooding.
The flood was the impetus for us to make changes. Since 2003 we have been working in leased production areas in Prague-Benice and in 2005 we bought and repaired a factory building in Senetářov. These steps allowed us to expand our production and range of products. Given the additional needs, we built new offices in the factory building in Senetářov in 2010. Now, there is also the sales and design department.

EKO-SYSTEM barriers played a key part in the City of Prague stand at the International EXPO 2010 in Shanghai (China). Thanks to the unique system and its extent, Prague was chosen to show how the historic treasures in its territory were protected. The Prague stand was therefore designed in this spirit. Visitors could walk across the Charles Bridge, take a picture with Švejk or taste Czech beer. The whole stand was symbolically protected with the EKO-SYSTEM flood barrier. And perhaps due to this undoubtedly interesting exhibition, it seemed that the stand literally surpassed hundreds of other presentations from around the world. The large number of visitors that saw this exposition may serve as evidence.
